Sean McManus is the owner and creator of Monster Rigs, a brand born from over 26 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. A dedicated carpenter by trade, Sean began his career in carpentry mastering all aspects of the job including first and second fix work, roofing, shuttering, timber frames and even small floor and wall tiling projects.
Having worked across every part of the trade, Sean saw a clear gap in the market for tool belts and rigs that were both durable and affordable. This led to the creation of Monster Rigs, gear designed by tradesmen for tradesmen.
Before launching the brand, Sean also spent time teaching woodwork at a local college, passing on his skills and passion to the next generation of carpenters. That same dedication to craftsmanship and learning is reflected in every Monster Rigs product.
Monster Rigs is a small family-run business based in the UK, built on a simple principle: deliver high-quality, hard-wearing products without big overheads or inflated prices. Each belt, vest, and accessory is designed through real-world testing and refined on site by tradespeople.
Sean still works on site a few days a week, ensuring every new product is tested in real conditions. His goal is simple, to bring Monster Rigs to tradespeople across the world, offering reliable, field-tested gear that performs day in and day out.
